TOWN OF SPRINGFIELD - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with 24 V.S.A. §§4441, 4444, the Selectboard of the Town of Springfield will hold a public hearing on September 26, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Town Hall on 56 Main Street in Springfield, VT, to receive comments on proposed amendments to the zoning bylaws. The purpose of these proposed amendments can be summarized as follows:
- The primary reasons for amendments are to merge the subdivision and zoning regulations into one document, clarify the permitting process, update the flood hazard standards and procedures to make them more easily understandable, make changes that encourage downtown revitalization, and clarify standards and address statutory requirements.
The proposed amendments affect the entire jurisdiction of the Town of Springfield.
