RENTAL PROPERTY/TENANT HEALTH & SAFETY: As of June 7, 2022, the Vermont Division of Fire Safety acquired the authority to investigate and enforce health & safety standards for rental property. Tenants or interested persons pursuing complaints against landlords or property management services should work through the state process to achieve compliance. ROAD MAINTENANCE, WATER SUPPLY & WASTEWATER ISSUES: Please use the PubWorks application which will expedite the resolution of many common highway and water issues. From 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM you can also call Public Works directly at (802) 886-2208. After hours please call the Springfield Police Department at (802) 885-2113 and the dispatcher will contact on-call personnel.
