***Water Main Break in vacinity of Fairground Road***

The Springfield Water Department is assessing a water main break in the vacinity of Fairground Road. This break is affecting many parts of North Springfield and Springfield. We will provide updates as they are available.

 

***Update: Water Main Break***

The main transmission line from the well field to the water tanks is broken. All public works staff are on hand to repair the break as quickly as possible. The section of Fairground Road affected will be closed for an indeterminate amount of time. As a result the snow removal in the area of McDonald's will be postponed. We will continue to provide updates as they are available.
